The 2023 Taichung International Flower Carpet Festival presents a “floating flower city,” the first-ever floating flower castle in Taiwan. Through metaphors, the three elements of Xinshe (i.e., its natural ecosystems, agriculture, and human culture) are transformed into three guardian angels to develop Xinshe into a prosperous region. Tourists visiting Xinshe feel as if they have entered a utopia.
