Daan Seaside Paradise is located in Daan Beach, a leveled and spacious sand beach. The nutrient-rich intertidal zone nurtures an abundance of creatures including soldier crabs, Balanidaes, egrets and the only mangrove forest in Taichung. Daan Seaside Paradise is a family-friendly facility that has an indoor sand pit, shower facilities, kiddie pool and outdoor swimming pool. Since 2013, it is also open for surfing and kitesurfing. Visitors to Taichung can enjoy surfing and some beach activity here.
