Originally a 700-ping (approx. 2,310m2) old cosmetics factory, Fusion Space has since then been transformed into a venue stationed with restaurants, cafes, and bars. Utilizing the homonym of Fuxing Road as the initial idea, “Fusion Factory 1962” was established in August of 2021 at the location of the old factory of “Shen Hsiang Tang,” the first cosmetics company in Taiwan. “Fusion Factory 1962” is stationed with talented teams who possess immense creativity, expertise in design, and vast knowledge of various cultures. Combined with the full integration of life aesthetics and other related industries, Fusion Factory 1962 is one of the most successful cases of architecture renovation in Taichung, which not only injected life into development of the old town, it has also become a new cluster of life aesthetics and creativity in Taichung.
