Lantern Festival Central Taiwan 2016: Fun Trip to Taichung

With the theme of “Fun Trip to Taichung”, Lantern Festival Central Taiwan 2016 creates its mascot, a big-mouthed monkey dressed as magnificent Sun Wukong to symbolically look after the well-being and happiness of people all year around. The Lantern Festival holds celebration events on three different locations, with over a hundred lanterns and exclusively-planned programs in order to attract people from all over Taiwan or and overseas to participate.
Lantern Festival Central Taiwan 2016 will take place in Taichung Park, Taichung City Seaport Art Center in Qingshui, and Huludun Park in Fengyuan between February 17 and 29, 2016, making an extraordinary Lantern Festival filled with art vibes for thirteen days.
