Anchor

Dakeng Trail No. 4 is 1.9 kilometers in length, at an elevation between 470 and 859 meters. It starts at Changqing Bridge; and the end point connects to Trail No. 5, where hikers can turn around and take the same way back. The slope is particularly steep throughout the trail. A section of 300 meters of almost vertical steep slope tests the physical strength and resilience of hikers and is known as the“Jelly Leg Slope.”

Changqing Bridge, where hikers start the trip on Dakeng Trail No. 4.

Walking on the ridge of the mountain is a test of physical strength and courage to the hikers. The trail is not much shaded and therefore offers excellent view, overlooking Taichung city and the mountains in Dakeng Scenic Area.
