The altitude for trail No.3 is ranging from 415 m to 795 m above sea level. Most parts of the trail climb along ridges and are rarely shaded, so you will need sun protection. Walking along the ridge, you can enjoy the astonishing scenery that changes with seasons and watching many kinds of birds, even the presence of red-bellied tree squirrels; this is the trail that bird watchers should not miss. It takes about 2 hours to finish it then get Trail No.5 when you climb the trail in a mood to watch flowers and birds there.
Dakeng Trail No.3
Distance: About 1.3 km. It's good for ecological education.
Entrance: Visitors can turn right from Dakeng Traffic Circle to Hengkeng Lane and then turn left on Liankeng Lane. After passing the parking lot, you will see the entrance.
Features: Trail No.3 contains rich ecological resources and various wildlife like birds, plants, animals, insects. There are trailside plant signs with brief description help visitors to recognize the wildlife better.
