The first A-Zai bamboo tube rice cake store opened in a fabric shop next to Jenn Lann Temple in Dajia in the Japanese colonial era. It was taken over by the 2nd generation owner in 1938, and consequently moved to its present address. Using carefully selected ingredients, these delicious dishes are made by hand in the time-consuming and old-fashioned way.
